The most beautiful restaurants in Helsinki
I’ve been living in Helsinki for years and have had a chance to visit many lovely restaurants. Here's my favorite restaurants and cafes in Helsinki when it comes to interior design. <3
Café Savoy - Designed by Studio Joanna Laajisto
Located at the heart of Helsinki next to the beautiful Esplanade park, you can find Café Savoy, a charming French restaurant that has been decorated with carefully selected, high-quality materials. My absolute favorite detail is the thick marble tables. It's a mixture of old and new. There are lots of nice details that make the space unique. The number of plants, soft materials, and an oval-shaped table, coupled with delicious food, made the experience just perfect.
Also, on the top floor of Café Savoy you can find an iconic Restaurant Savoy, that is designed by the world wide known Finnish architect Alvar Aalto and his wife Aino Aalto. The 87 year old restaurant has remained it’s design style regardless of the changes in ownership, and was recently (respectfully) renewed by interior architect, Ilse Crawford.

Lulu’s - Designed by Anni Taimisto
Lulu's is one of my favorite restaurants in Helsinki. It's chic, feminine, and lively, and it serves delicious vegetarian food. The overall atmosphere is refreshing and trendy, with hints of humor.

Way Bakery - Designed by Studio Joanna Laajisto
Way Bakery is a cafeteria by day and a restaurant in the evening. What a genius concept. They have super tasty lunch alternatives and the best cinnamon buns in town. Also, I love the laid back atmosphere, including the music in the toilet and the fact that the bakery’s selection varies day by day. When asking about preorders, I was told that “the chef bakes what ever they feel like”. Just remember to be there before afternoon make sure they still have those tasty pastries left!

Kämp Bar - Designed by Fyra
At Kämp Bar, you can enjoy drinks or just a cup of coffee in an elegant atmosphere in one of the best hotels in Helsinki. This is the hotel where football stars and artists like Justin Bieber stay when in Helsinki. ;)

One of my favorite things about this restaurant is the comfortable wooden chairs by Artisan, as well as the inviting atmosphere. They aim for zero waste by offering seasonal food and using creativity, a fresh addition to Helsinki's fine dining selection.

Bistro Bardot is a French restaurant that has a nighttime atmosphere thanks to its well-planned lighting. The success of the interior design is based on the ability to create a new space without making it feel like a different one.

Bistro Gina - Designed by Fyra
Bistro Gina is one of a kind - not only because of its interior but also because it's an Italian restaurant with French chefs. Who would have thought this day would come! The space is designed with high-quality materials, including lovely chandeliers made from fine fabric. Nice details include the Fyra's Boa Chairs and thick marble table tops with shaped edges.
